A two-stage cementing collar is commonly used in deep wells, exploration wells, and complex wells. It can replace the conventional one-time cementing with two-stage cementing to solve cementing problems in situations of leakage, large cement content, and large temperature differences. Mainly used for cementing and cementing operations in the following situations:

1. Excessive amount of cement injected at once;

2. The formation cannot withstand excessive liquid column pressure;

3. Seal off special layers,

4. Prevent annular air leakage after cementing;

5. The temperature difference between the upper and lower parts of the sealing section is large, making it difficult to adjust the performance of the cement slurry;

6. Dual stage cementing of inclined and horizontal wells.

Characteristics

The two-stage cement collar has the following main characteristics:

1. The closure sleeve is designed with an anti rotation device to prevent synchronous rotation of the closure sleeve and the drill bit when drilling attachments:

2. Designed with a special mechanism to prevent the closure sleeve from closing prematurely;

3. After the closure sleeve closes the circulation hole, the locking mechanism on the closure sleeve prevents the closure sleeve from backing off, achieving permanent closure;

4. All Accessories are made of rubber/aluminum materials with good drill ability and have a good anti rotation mechanism, making drilling and removal convenient;

5. Gravity type or displacement type opening plugs can be selected for mechanical opening;

6. The inner diameter of the lower joint is consistent with the inner diameter of the casing, but smaller than the inner diameter of the closing sleeve. It can effectively protect the closing sleeve from damage during drilling and removal operations.
