1. Tool Description:
- The API 11B wellhead tool, known as a double-layer stuffing box, is designed to seal the Polished Rod at a pumping wellhead.
- It is available in two options: single pack and double pack.
- Materials for components include 1045/4130 casting steel or ductile iron, based on customer demand.
2. Key Components:
- The stuffing box includes a cross shell, seal gate valves, sealing pin, sealing cap, and rubber packing.
- Features a misaligning capability to reduce the need for precise alignment with the Pumping Unit.
- Incorporates cone packing and a lubricated upper gland (LUG) with a grease zerk for rod lubrication.
- Optional components like an oil reservoir gland (ORG) and an anti-pollution adapter (APA) are available.
